Corporate Members as above may use the following abbreviated designation after their names :- Fellow members - F.I.Q.S.SL You can become an Affiliate member if you: New Zealand Qualification. have completed a NZ National Diploma in QS, or a New Zealand Diploma in Construction (QS strand) and have completed a minimum of four years’ work experience in the New Zealand building/construction industry.; OR; you have a minimum of seven years quantity surveying experience, including at least one year in New Zealand.
